RECYCLING PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT

Upon request we can structure a non hazardous waste recycling program by identifying and monitoring the waste stream.  We recognize the importance of moving out waste materials in order to keep plant operations running smoothly and warehouses free of clutter.

To this end we can provide balers, empty containers as well as properly labeled collection bins, bags or boxes to be placed in strategic areas.  We encourage employee education as they are key to the success of any recycling program.

INTERNATIONAL TRADE:

Our international trade business encompasses regrind, reprocessed as well as off grade polymers used for injection molding, blow molding and/or extrusion..  We also buy and sell baled films, non wovens, OCC, ONP and  Office Paper.

We offer recycling services for a variety of plastic products, including:

• Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET, PETE)
  This is used to manufacture polyester fibres, thermoformed sheet, strapping, soft drink bottles
• High Density Polyethylene (HDPE).
  This is used for the production of bottles, grocery bags, recycling bins, agricultural pipe, base cups, car stops, playground equipment, and plastic lumber.
• Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC, Vinyl).
  A material used for manufacturing pipes, fencing, non-food bottles, windows and packaging sheet. Flexible PVC is used to manufacture medical tubing, shoe soles and rubber hoses.
• Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE)
  Plastic bags, various containers, dispensing bottles, wash bottles, tubing, and various molded laboratory equipment are made from this polymer.
• Polypropylene (PP)
  This is a thermoplastic polymer used in manufacturing auto parts, planters, caps  and industrial fibers.
• Polystyrene (PS).
  This can be found in desk accessories, cafeteria trays, toys, videocassettes and cases, insulation board and expanded polystyrene products

Engineering grade polymers such as:

• Acrylic (PMMA - Polymethyl Methacrylate).
  Primarily used as a shatterproof alternative to glass - aquariums, helmet visors, submarine ports, medical technologies, implants.
• Nylon (PA - Polyamide)
   Applications include automotive, electrical, household products and thin films.
• Acrilonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS)
  ABS is used to manufacture appliances, calculators, battery cases, microwave and oven cookware, buttons and is used in many automotive applications.
• Policarbonate (PC)
  PC is used in the manufacture of automobile head lamps, water bottles, outdoor lighting, medical supply components, eyeglass lenses, cd's and dvd's.
